Attendees will identify and practice strategies for understanding and managing stages of grief including finding meaning; examine concepts from the psychology of resilience; characteristics of compassion fatigue and crisis-related stress will be identified; strategies for establishing and maintaining physical and psychological wellbeing will be examined; effective ways to communicate with others to increase successful client support will be discussed.
